I’ve been trying to live a somewhat healthier lifestyle (I say as I’m eating an oatmeal raisin cookie), and to help with that I’ve practically cut soda out of my life entirely. For those who know me, you know how much I love Diet Coke, so it was a rough 1st month. Since I’m not drinking soda anymore, I’ve been drinking a TON more water. But I wanted to make sure I was drinking a proper amount per day, so I downloaded this app. I had heard of it before, but thought it was a bunch of hype that was unsupported. No, guys, this app is awesome. There’s something strangely satisfying about watering your plant and watching it grow every time you take a drink. Plus, it motivates you to drink water throughout the day so that your plant doesn’t die, which totally works! It’s a free app, so you should absolutely download it. :)
I have wanted to invest in some kind of face cleansing / exfoliating brush for a while, but never pulled the trigger because the prices on those things are ridic. For reals, my hands work just fine, thank you very much. But I was with my mom in Walmart and we went to the beauty section, because she needed new hand soap, where I spotted these little things randomly on an end cap and was intrigued. I liked that they were made of silicone, had different textures, and were less than $5! Since they were so cheap, I decided to try them out and I am hooked! Seriously, don’t spend a hundred and some dollars on an electric one when this works just as well!
3. America’s Sweetheart: Elle King
I liked Elle King when she came out with her song Ex’s & Oh’s, but after I heard this song I am LOVING her! This song is so fun and energetic and the perfect song to belt out in the shower. I’m going to be blasting this song all summer in the car with the windows rolled down. #SorryNotSorry other drivers!
