Hi friends,
Welcome to this month’s Three Things Thursday where I share with you 3 monthly favorites that I’ve been loving lately and give you a scoop about why I’ve been loving them. Missed the last Three Things Thursday? Check it out here.
For years, many people in my life have been telling me to watch this show. I’ve always wanted to, but I’m the kind of person who can’t watch bits and pieces and not be caught up on the current season. I’d rather binge watch the whole thing in one sitting. Netflix finally released the final season and I watched it earlier this month. It’s definitely a new favorite show. The characters are so well written, the story is completely hilarious, and April Ludgate is my spirit animal. I loved it so much that I even dedicated a whole post to it by creating free Galentine’s Day printables. Bottom line, it’s a fantastic show and everyone and their mother should watch it. :)
Ok, so I rarely download any additional apps on my phone. Let alone any game apps.Mostly because I have barely any storage available but also because I think they’re not going to be worth it, even if they’re free. A while ago I saw an article from Buzzfeed about apps that you should download and try. Because I always read Buzzfeed articles when I’m bored, I read this one. There were a bunch on there that I new I would never, ever need/use but there were 2 that seemed interesting. 1 ended up being totally not worth it (called it!) but this is a new favorite game! I don’t typically get overly excited about apps, no matter how great they are, but I am obsessed with this game. The point of it is to connect the dots by color and sometimes you have to get a certain number of that color, or break certain blocks, or complete other challenges that I haven’t met yet. It’s surprisingly calming but can be super challenging! It’s free, so why not give it try?
3. Songs for the Late Night Drive Home: Anchor & Braille
Ooooh, this band. Ok, so my favorite band is Anberlin, but sadly they are no more. Like, that was devastating to me and I cried for days. literally BUT! Stephen Christian, the oh so talented lead singer of Anberlin, had a side band that I loved too; Anchor & Braille. I’ve loved the music for a long time, but nothing new had been released in a while. And then he released this! This album is amazing and you should definitely give it listen. Live Fast, Die Young is probably my favorite track from the album, but Watch You Burn and Keep Dancin’ are also incredible. Who am I kidding? They’re all incredible! And while I haven’t actually listened to the album on a late night drive home (like the title implies that I should) next time I’m out late I definitely will!
What are some things you’ve been lovely lately? Let me know below!
