Hi friends,
One of the lovely perks of my new job is that I don’t have to go in until 9:30 most days. I can sleep a little longer, get some blog stuff done, and actually make a real breakfast. No more Poptarts in the car for this girl! I’ve been obsessed with this smoothie bowl recipe lately. It’s healthy, gives me energy, and (because it’s so dang hot right now) it’s cool and refreshing.
Ingredients
- 1 cup spinach
- 5 whole strawberries, 4 frozen and 1 fresh
- 1/2 cup blackberries
- 1/4 cup raspberries
- 1 banana
- granola
Directions
1. Combine spinach, frozen strawberries, 1/4 cup blackberries, raspberries, and half of a banana into a blender.
2. Blend until smooth.
3. Take mixture from blender and put into a bowl.
4. Add your toppings. It’s really up to you, and what your preferences are, but I love adding granola, the other half of the banana, a fresh strawberry, and the remaining 1/4 cup blackberries.
5. Enjoy!
I could seriously eat, like, 3 of these. It’s a literal obsession. And because it’s so healthy, I can eat this as often as I want and not feel guilty about it. I’ve even made this as a dessert, instead of ice cream. Yes, it is that good!
