Hi friends,
So I was watching a vlog and in it the people were drinking mint mojito lattes from a coffee place called Philz. I had never heard of this place and would probably never get to try it because it’s a California based coffee shop. But this drink intrigued me so much that I decided to try to make my own recipe. And. I. Love. It.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup fresh mint, chopped
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup water
- 2 cups coffee
- 1/4 cup almond milk
Directions
- To make the mint syrup, combine the mint, sugar, and water in a small saucepan over medium heat. Bring contents to a boil and make sure sugar dissolves. Remove from heat.
- Transfer to a small bowl and let sit overnight, in the fridge, to infuse the flavor. The longer the better.
- Before you make the latte, strain the mint leaves from the syrup and discard the mint.
- Combine the coffee, almond milk, and 2 – 3 tablespoons of the mint syrup. Stir well and enjoy!
This is the perfect thing to enjoy on these last hot days. And if you wanted to make a hot version, this would be soooo good in the winter!
Are you a coffee addict? What’s your favorite type?

My daughter just got an espresso machine, and we’ve been looking for ways of flavoring the drinks without buying that faky syrup. This looks great — I hadn’t thought of making an infusion. Now it looks like I need to go track down some mint leaves (we have tons of fresh basil, cilantro, oregano, and sage, but . . . no mint.)

I do love coffee. My all time favorite flavor ever is Golden French Toast by Green Mountain. Fall flavors are the best. Now, I’m in the mood for coffee! Your chilled coffee looks wonderful right now! #merrymonday
