Hi friends,
I am super duper excited to show you a tour of my completed kitchen next week! In preparation of that, I wanted to put together a round up of the projects I did in the space.
This was the first project I did in the space and I am soooooo happy with how it turned out and how it’s kept up after a few months of use. I was a little wary of how it would wear over time, but it still looks awesome!
I really wanted a way to display some pretty dishes and other lovely things. Floating shelves were the way to go. And. I. Love. Them. It really opens up and brightens the room.
I desperately needed to organize my kitchen. I was able to use unused space in my kitchen to display my pots and pans and it was so easy!

Another project that I undertook was re-tiling my backsplash. I tried to be as in depth as possible so it was somewhat lengthy, therefore, it was in two parts. But I think I was able to get the information and tutorial across really well.
I knew I wanted some artwork for my kitchen but I didn’t want something that everyone and their mother had. So I created some printables that have quotes about food from my favorite books and authors. I really like how they look in the finished space!
This was the last project I posted having to do with my kitchen and it was purely because I found a bread box for sale at a yardsale for $1. I wanted a breadbox for a long while and I love how I customized it.
I’m so, so, SO excited to show you my completed kitchen next week! I didn’t think this renovation would take this long and I’ve been working on these projects for so long and I’m ready to just be able to relax enjoy it. And be able to make a meal in a finished kitchen! Be sure to check back for the completed tour!
