I’ve always wanted to dye the tips of my hair purple and I finally did it! In this video I show you how I did it, step by step, and review the product I used. I also have a tip on how to make it last and stay vibrant!
I’m super excited because one of my blogging goals for this next year was to utilize Youtube a lot more and this is the beginning!
Have you ever done something completely different with your hair?
I love seeing you in the video. I did an ombre purple layers on my oldest dd’s hair and the color stands out more if you bleach the hair you’re coloring. But you’re right, a more subtle look may be better for a professional atmosphere. Since it was for my dd, she wanted it REALLY purple.

Thanks so much, Erlene! Ombre would be awesome! I bleached it as much as I could but because my hair is so dark I couldn’t do it anymore than what I did or else it would’ve fallen out. Which would not have been good! lol

Awesome! I’m partial to purple hair! I used to have purple streaks (until I got a job in a school). :) I miss my colorful hair!

Currently my hair is bright pink! Purple was the first bright color I did many years ago. I think that will be my next color.

eek! I love this! My hair used to have purple in it for the longest time then I got a teaching job and had to put it back to all one color. I have been thinking about dying just the underside for a little pizzaz! Yours looks great!

I did purple in my hair several years ago. As is washed out I loved it more because it became this cool gray color that I wish was a real color.
