Hi friends,
I’ve paired up with 19 other talented ladies to bring you a monthly Thrift Store Decor Upcycle Challenge. Each month we will create a new home decor piece from an item(s) we’ve found at a thrift store, yard sale, resale shop etc. There is no budget or specific theme so we are free to let our creativity run wild!

So I’m sure you’ve seen this before on Pinterest about a dozen times. Turn a spice rack into a nail polish holder, how original. In fact, I already have an upcycled spice rack turned nail polish holder hanging on my wall. So why create another one? Well, for quite a few reasons.
1. I have about a bazillion nail polishes and my current nail polish holder is overflowing.
2. This one is a bit smaller than my current nail polish holder and will allow me to have it sit on my shelf with the rest of my beauty products.
3. It has drawers for extra organization!
Supply List
- old spice rack
- sand paper
- white spray paint
- rose gold / copper spray paint
Instructions
1. Take your spice rack and give it a good sanding.
2. Spray paint it in the color(s) of your choice! I, of course, went with white and rose gold to match my aesthetic.
3. I’m using the drawers to store my nail tools like nail clippers and cuticle remover, as well as some nail wraps I have.
4. I like that this spice rack is a bit on the smaller side and can’t overflow with polish. I’m going to use it to display my most used polishes.
You guys know I’m all about easy DIYs, and this one was super, duper easy!

I know what you mean about having a ton of nail polish. This is a cute way to be able to have it all out in the open. I have mine all shoved away in a box lol. Love the rose cold!

This is a good idea to be organized and so pretty also. Who wouldn’t want to have this on display.

Great idea for displaying all your nail polish colors. Mine would need to be 5ft. tall since I went through a crazy nail polish phase.

This turned out really well! I love the rose gold with the white. It’s very eye catching and chic. Also, those drawers for extra organization are so cool!

This is so cute, but I’d need 3 of them since ever since my daughter realized how awesome nail polish was we seem to be collecting new colors daily :) Thanks for sharing at the Wednesday Showcase party!
