Hi friends,
Have you checked out the #MerryBlogmas link parties yet? There’s some awesome creativity happening over there! To celebrate Blogmas in my own way, and continue with my Holiday Hootenanny, I’ve decided to post once a day leading up to Christmas! This week’s party is all about lifestyle so get ready for some fun (and somewhat random) Christmas lifestyle posts headed your way!

Whether you’re headed to an ugly sweater party or a more elegant event, there’s one accessory that is a must: a floral crown! These are super trendy right now, but I’ve really only seen spring and summer crowns and I wanted to make one for the holiday season!
Supply List
- silk flowers
- floral tape
- hot glue gun & glue sticks
Instructions
1. Take a floral pick with multiple stems and cut the stems off. Pop the flowers and leaves off of the stems and set aside.
2. Take one stem and begin wrapping with floral tape.
3. Continue adding stems to the floral wrap, until you have a complete circle. The circle should be the size of the top of your head (where you want the crown to sit).
4. Grab the flowers and begin gluing to the crown’s base. Let dry for each item.
5. You can also add other elements, rather than just flowers. I added some pine branches and some pine cones to make it a bit more festive and seasonal.
6. Continue gluing the flowers and other elements to the base, until you have the top half filled. Let dry.
7. Dress it up or dress it down!
If floral crowns aren’t your thing, you can also use these same methods to create a wreath based on your decor theme. One of my favorite items to add to my decorative wreaths are natural elements, like the pine cones and pine branches that I added to my floral crown. If you wanted to make your wreath a bit more wintery, you could add some flocking, or if you wanted it a bit more festive, you could add some ribbon. The options are endless!
Are you headed to any Christmas parties? Don’t show up empty handed! Head on over to BloomNation to find and order floral arrangements for the party host! If you’ve never heard of BloomNation before, they’re a company that supports local communities by partnering with independent florists and showcasing their handcrafted arrangements. You’ll definitely be able to find something truly unique!
Be sure to stop by the #MerryBlogmas lifestyle link party!

Oh my gosh I LOVE floral crowns. I wear them all the time during the summer. Now I know how to make them! They can get so costly for something that’s relatively inexpensive. So glad I found you today on #WomenWithIntentionWednesdays
Merry Christmas!
