Hi friends,
Have you checked out the #MerryBlogmas link parties yet? There’s some awesome creativity happening over there! To celebrate Blogmas in my own way, and continue with my Holiday Hootenanny, I’ve decided to post once a day leading up to Christmas! This week’s party is all about gifts so get ready for some awesome Christmas gift related posts headed your way!

Christmas is getting closer and I’m running out of days to shop for and DIY gifts! Although, there’s one person in my life that’s incredibly difficult to do either for: my dad. But, I think I came up with something that he’ll really like! Last year my dad took me to NYC as my Christmas gift and it was the absolute best time. We had so much fun, and we made so many great memories, and I wanted to give my dad something to remind himself of it!
Supply List
- 12″ x 12″ shadowbox
- pictures
- scrapbook stickers
- holiday washi tape
- glue
Instructions
1. Take your shadow box and remove the glass.
2. Print out the pictures you want in the box. I printed them 4×6 and formatted them into squares. Cut off the blank sides so that they’re 4×4.
3. Place the pictures where you want and glue into place.
4. Because I was making this for my dad about our trip to NYC last Christmas, I picked up some NYC scrapbook stickers, some travel stickers, and some letter stickers. Get stickers that relate to whatever is going to be in your box.
5. First I wrote out “Christmas 2014” in the letters. Write out whatever year you’re featuring. And then place your stickers where ever you want!
6. To make it a bit more festive, I grabbed some holiday washi tape and placed it around the frame.
7. Wrap it up and give it to whoever you want so they can display it proudly!
This is a great gift for anyone for any past Christmas memories! I kind of want to make another one of these for myself. I hope my dad likes it!
Be sure to stop by the #MerryBlogmas gifts link party and link up your most festive posts!
