Hi friends,
Eeeeeek! I am SOOOO excited to participate in my first blogger’s home tour! I’m taking a day off from posting based on the Blogmas theme of the week. But don’t worry, a super yummy recipe will be headed your way tomorrow!
While this is the second Christmas season I’ve spent in my home, this is the first that I decorated. Last year I was home for less than 5 days in all of December (not an exaggeration), so I didn’t spend the time putting up too many decorations. I decorated my mantel and that was pretty much it. I’m still trying to figure out how I want my house to look during the holidays, and while there aren’t too many decorations, I’m super happy with how it looks.
I won’t talk a lot throughout this post, I’ll let the photos talk for themselves, and I’ll throw in a caption or two. So, without further ado, welcome to my home!
One of my favorite traditions during the holidays is to re-read The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe. And, of course, enjoying some delicious cupcakes and cocoa while I do it. :)
I am in love with my ornaments. Bless Target for selling some pastel colored ones this year!
Mr. Deer got in the holiday spirit as well!
Getting home after a long day of work and seeing this festive message is the perfect way to end a day.
Probably my favorite thing in my living room are my deer. My Pap-Pap made them for me when I was really little and they are absolutely perfect.
And, of course, I can’t get over the glow of the tree at night.
It’s the perfect place for watching Christmas movies in festive PJs…
…or climbing the tree.

Chelc I love your living room! The colors are so vibrant and cheery. And I’m glad I’m not the only one who has a cat that loves to climb the tree. I realized this morning one of my cats is totally photobombing one of my home tour pictures lol.
