1 Year Blogiversary | Inside the Fox Den - Come celebrate with a giveaway and virtual cupcakes!

HI FRIENDS!!!!!

If you can’t tell by my use of all caps and many exclamation points, I’m extremely excited for this post! Today, Inside the Fox Den turns 1!! *screams, throws confetti, does happy dance, hands out virtual cupcakes*

Even though I only began consistently posting and sticking to a schedule in the beginning of February, I had the crazy idea to start a blog a year ago and scheduled my first post on July 3rd, 2014!

I know it’s cliché, but it really is amazing what can happen in a year. I’ve been able to do and share so many interior design, DIY, and recipe projects (don’t worry, many more to come) and meet so many incredible bloggers that I’ve been able to make such a strong connection with. I became a co-host of an incredible linky party, have been able to review some cool products, and have loved every minute of it.

And this is just the beginning.

With this being my 1 year into blogging mark, I figured it was a good time to evaluate my blog, see what things have been well received and gotten me traffic, and what things can be done to improve it in the next year. I’m also putting a deadline goal to keep myself accountable.

  1. Meet / interact with more bloggers and make more friends (ongoing)
  2. Create a sign up subscription list with incentive (end of Aug.)
  3. Blog layout design (end of Oct.)
  4. Logo redesign (end of Oct.)
  5. Take a blogging business course (end of Mar.)
  6. Utilize Youtube more and create video content (ongoing)
  7. Grow my social media (end of Dec.)

Because we’re all friends here, I’d love any additional feedback you feel would benefit the blog and you as a reader. Any tips and tricks you’d feel like sharing with me I’d greatly appreciate it. :)

And because this is my 1 year blogiversary, I wanted to do something to celebrate! I decided to pick up a few of my favorite things and give them away to one lucky friend! There’s a reason behind every item I chose because I wanted this giveaway to be a little bit more personal than an “e-gift card”. Not that there’s anything wrong with those either! ;)

I collect unique gift cards and my favorite ones have always been from Target. Plus Target is bomb and everyone loves it. ;) I cannot begin to tell you how many Bath and Body Works candles I have in my home. They make any space smell super nice and extremely relaxing. Also there are endless possibilities to what you can craft with the empty containers. So bonus gift! Too Faced Better Than Sex mascara is my absolute, hands down, favorite mascara in the whole world. I actually used to not wear mascara ever and now I couldn’t imagine getting ready in the morning without putting it on. I love accessorizing my outfits and statement necklaces are a staple in my rotation. This one’s neutral but still has a color pop so it will go with countless OOTDs! And it’s geometric which speaks to my soul. Finally, receiving hand written letters are one of my favorite things in the world. When someone takes the time to write out about their day or what’s been going on in their life, I just get all smiley. :)
