Hi friends,
Raise your hand if, when you were little, you would spend hours and hours the night before a school Valentine’s party perfecting your valentines for all of your friends. Especially the one for your little elementary school crush. Ok, maybe that was just me. But I still feel like I’m in elementary school every time Valentine’s Day rolls around.
I’m 25 years old and I still have the desire to give every single one of my friends a valentine of some sort. However, this year as a teacher of awesomely amazing kids, I wanted to think of something that I could possibly give them as well. At the school I teach at we have a wellness policy and try (emphasis on try) to only bring healthy(ish) snacks into the classroom. So candy & chocolate were out. Then as I was setting up something for a High School class last quarter, I had a light bulb moment.
My students had made their own short films so when we screened them I made little popcorn boxes and gave them a snack during class. Popcorn for Valentine’s day…perfect! I immediately began brainstorming how I would create a Valentine’s Day popcorn box that I could hand out to friends and maybe even my students!
This Valentine’s Day popcorn box fits on a piece of 8.5″ x 11″ card stock so it’s really a “mini” box. But it fits the perfect serving! And it’s really easy to assemble! Just cut along the solid lines and fold along the dashed!
Fill ’em up with your choice of popcorn (or, more appropriately, your valentine’s choice of popcorn) and you’re good to go! Click here to download your free Valentine’s Day popcorn box printable!
Are you guys doing anything for Valentine’s day? Hanging with the friends; going out with the significant other? Or are you gonna be like me and wrap yourself up like a burrito with your cat & Netflix? Let me know in the comments!
