I think it’s becoming a running theme that in every post I have to talk about my dislike of pumpkin flavored items. It’s just a fact. And I get really, really sick whenever I eat anything caramel. So I really feel like I miss out during the fall season in the coffee department. Especially at Starbucks. Because Starbucks is life.
But this year is different…
This year they released a new fall themed beverage! The first new one in four years. FOUR YEARS! So naturally I had to try it out. And it’s literally the only thing I’ve ordered from Starbucks since. Seriously, it is THAT good.
I finally have a fall themed drink that I can enjoy! Their Toasted Graham Latte is definitely a new favorite. So much, in fact, that I wanted to bring it with me to a fall party I was invited to. But a grownup version. ;)
Supply List
- 2 cups vanilla flavored coffee
- 3 tablespoons sweetened condensed milk
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 3 packets Knox gelatin
- 1 1/4 cup Cinnabon vodka
- Redi Whip
- graham crackers (smashed up for garnish)
- shot glasses
- green straws (optional)
Instructions
1. Pour vanilla flavored coffee in a medium saucepan and sprinkle gelatin packets on top. Let sit for 2 – 3 minutes.
2. Place the saucepan over medium heat, whisking the gelatin to let it dissolve. Once warm, add your sweetened condensed milk.
3. Whisk in the nutmeg and turn the heat down to low.
4. Add vodka into coffee mixture and mix well.
5. Pour contents into your shot glasses and place them in the fridge overnight to firm up.
6. Run to Starbucks, buy a Toasted Graham Latte, and steal some green straws. Because we all know that the green straws make this recipe super adorable. Cut each straw in 2 pieces.
7. Top with Redi Whip, graham cracker crumbles, and your newly acquired green straws. ;)
8. Serve at a party, impress all your friends, and enjoy!
So there you have it! A super duper cute jell-o shot that’s incredibly easy to make but will make a huge impact!
Now, I’m not gonna lie, these don’t taste exactly like the real toasted graham latte that you get at Starbucks, but it’s pretty darn close. And reallllllllly delicious!
Are you going to any fall themed or Halloween parties this year? These would be perfect to take with you! But please, as is with all drink recipes, be sure to enjoy responsibly. :)
