Welcome to this month’s Three Things Thursday where I share with you 3 monthly favorites that I’ve been loving lately. Missed last month’s? Check it out here.
1. Supersizer Mascara: Cover Girl
This is, hands down, one of the best drugstore mascaras I’ve ever tried. I have pretty long eyelashes to begin with, so when I purchase a mascara I look for it to give me volume and definition, not necessarily length. And that’s exactly what this product does. It’s a curling mascara, so what you do is roll it up through your eyelashes, slightly twisting as you go. It’s wand is specially designed with short and long bristles to curl your lashes and help them stay curled. I. Just. Love it.
2. Oh Honey
It wouldn’t be my monthly favorites without including some new music. This band. Oh. My. Gosh. So I originally heard of them because I just finished binge watching Glee, #MusicalTheatreGeek, and one of their songs was covered and sung by Rachel and Santana. I fell in love right then and there. Then a couple days later I had started my new job and not 1, not 2, not even 3, but FOUR songs of theirs was on my company’s Muzak playlist. It was meant to be that this was a new favorite band. And to top off their awesomeness, they named themselves after the “Oh Honey” episode of How I Met Your Mother. Perfection.
3. Pantry Organizers: Better Home and Gardens
Have you ever found a product and it makes you feel like you’ve got your life together? Well that is how I feel about these organizers. This products actually isn’t new to me. In fact, I’ve had this brand of organizers for a while to organize my pasta and cereal. But recently I picked up more to organize my entire pantry and O.M.G. it makes my life complete. It makes me feel like a real grown up. :)

This is a little funny, but one of the first spaces I organized after buying our first place was our kitchen pantry. Seeing it all organized there in front of me and having a big smile on my face, made me realize… man, I’m getting old!
