Hey friends,
Isn’t Target’s Dollar Spot just the best? It’s mandatory to walk through every time I make a stop. Right now there’s a bunch of really cute stuff for Easter that I could not resist picking up. I knew I wanted to make something to contribute to the Easter festivities with the fam, and these mini Easter baskets are just perfect.
Supplies Needed:
- Glass Jar
- Egg Ornaments
- Easter Grass
- Your choice of candy
I first took off the string of the ornaments. You can cut them off or you can also pull gently and they’ll pop out of the bottom.
Next you need to paint the lids of the jars to match the eggs. Spray painting them would’ve been a whole lot easier, but I really didn’t want to spend the money when I had perfectly good acrylic paint at home. If you’re using acrylic like I did, just mix whatever color you’re using with some white until you get the pastel color you want. Paint two coats and let dry.
While those are drying, place some grass and some candy in each jar.
Once your lids are dry, add a dollop of hot glue to the center and place your egg.
Put your lid on your filled jar and ta da! Super cute mini Easter Basket.
Mini? Mason jars? Candy? This will definitely be a hit!
