Hi friends,
Halloween is fast approaching! Do you have your costume(s) planned? Are all your decorations out? I don’t go too overboard on the decorating, but I definitely enjoy getting in a festive spirit.
My bedroom was lacking in the decor department, so I decided to do a little crafting and make a Halloween jewelry tray. Something chic, stylish, and spooky, but also functional!
Supply List
- plastic skeleton
- small plate / tray
- black spray paint
- adhesive
Instructions
1. Remove the arms from your skeleton and cut off the “joint” pieces.
2. Glue arms with the joints slightly bent and palms facing up. Glue hips, knees, and ankles to that the skeleton will stand straight. Let dry.
3. Take the plate and spray paint it black. Let dry.
4. Once both pieces are dry, glue the skeleton’s feet to the tray and let dry overnight.
5. Bedazzle your skeleton with some of your favorite jewelry pieces. I used the tray for bracelets and rings, ribs for some dangle-y earrings, and arms for necklaces.
I’m not gonna lie, I’m kind of obsessed with this. It’s the perfect addition to my room and my jewelry isn’t tangled anymore. Win win!
Have you DIYed any Halloween decor this year?
So neat! I love this!

I love your skeleton!!!! I would leave him out on my dresser to hold my jewelry year round. Where did you find the skeleton?

I know, I’m thinking he may stay up well past Halloween! I stumbled upon him at Target but they have some at Dollar Tree too!

I love this skeleton jewelry holder!! It is such a clever and fun way to add some festive holiday decorations to your home. It would be fun to hang other things from him too like craft supplies.
